Gold Silk Teddy Bear
This patchwork teddy bear is sure to please a young one looking for a buddy to snuggle with. With a lovely little scarf to keep it warm and a cheerful smile that is sure to bring the same to whomever takes this teddy home! The Gold Silk Teddy Bear is sewn together by women in Southern India and sits approximately 8 inches tall. The stuffed animal has moving arms and legs and is made from beautiful strips of fabric originally from an Indian Sari. A Sari is the traditional dress for women in the region, and is worn by wrapping the long cloth around the waist then draping the uniquely embroidered and stitched edge of the fabric around the shoulder. The elegant cloths on the teddy bear give it a classy look and the patchwork combinations make each one as unique as the artisan who sewed it.
Because of the unique fabrics used in this product, no two items are identical. The items are grouped by primary colors but we cannot guarantee an exact match to any photo.
