Patchwork Teddy Bear - Various Colors
Patchwork Teddy Bears are sewn together by women in Southern India. The stuffed animal is made from beautiful strips of silk fabric originally from an Indian Sari. A Sari is the traditional dress for women in the region, and is worn by wrapping the long cloth around the waist then draping the uniquely embroidered and stitched edge of the fabric around the shoulder. The elegant cloths on the elephant give it a classy look and the patchwork combinations make each elephant as unique as the artisan who sewed it.
Because of the unique fabrics used in this product, no two items are identical. We cannot guarantee an exact match to any photo. The colors change based on availability of the recycled saris used. Feel free to add a comment at check out about a preferred color and we will do our best to come up with something as close as possible.
